Sun Free Crochet Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

You will need:

  • hook 5 mm;
  • yellow yarn;
  • safety eyes 9 mm;
  • black floss;
  • fabric paint and brush (for cheeks, optional);
  • stuffing;
  • needle with a large eye.

Sides: (2 pcs)
6 sc in the amigurumi ring
KR 1: increases in each loop in a circle (12)
KR 2: (increase, sc) – repeat in a circle (18)
KR 3: (sc, increase, sc) – repeat in a circle (24)
CR 4: (raise, 3 sc) – repeat in a circle (30)
CR 5: (2 sc, increase, 2 sc) – repeat in a circle (36)
CR 6: (increase, 5 sc) – repeat in a circle (42)
CR 7-8: SC in a circle (42)
CR 9: conn. Art. in a trace. loop, close the last loop, leaving a long tail.

Large beam: (4 pcs.)

KR 1: in the second loop from the hook, 6 SC
KR 2-3: 1 ch, turn, SC to the end (6)
KR 4: 1 ch, turn, 2 SC, decrease, 2 sc (5)
ch 5: ch 1, turn, sc to end (5)
ch 6: ch 1, turn, decrease, sc, decrease (3)
CR 7: ch 1, turn, sc to end (3)
CR 8: ch 1, turn, dec, sc (2)
KP 9: ch 1, turn, dec (1)
KP 10: ch 1, turn, sc (1)
Bind off last st.

Small beam: (4 pcs.)
ch 5
KR 1: in the second loop from the hook, 4 sc (4)
Kp 2: ch 1, turn, sc to the end (4)
Kr 3: ch 1, turn, sc, decrease, Sc (3)
Kr 4: ch 1, turn out, dec, sc (2)
Kr 5: ch 1, turn, decrease (1)
Kr 6: ch 1, turn out, sc (1)
Bind off last st.

Assembly:

  • Place safety eyes on one side of the sun.
  • Place the beams as shown in the picture. Use a long tail from one side to stitch both sides and sew on the rays as you go. Stuff when you have sewn 2/3 of the circumference.
  • Embroider a face.
  • Color the cheeks (optional): Use diluted red paint (TRY THE PAINT ON A PAPER TOWEL FIRST, the color should be VERY PALE You can always make it brighter, but no paler) and a round brush to add blush to the cheeks (right under the eyes).
