Amigurumi Elephant Motif Crochet Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Abbreviations:
ch = air loop
conn.st. = connecting stitch
dc = double crochet
2 dc together = work 2 dc together.
At the end of the row, the total number of loops is indicated

Knitting Tip:
Planning to use elephants as toys? Make a lining of fabric so that the filler does not look out.

Body, head and trunk
2 pcs.

Please note: ch 3 at the beginning of each row counts as 1 dc.

With a 3.5 mm crochet and cherry-colored yarn, knit 6 ch, close their connection. Art. into the ring.
KR 1: 3 ch, 2 ch in the ring, (1 ch, 3 ch) in the ring 5 times, 1 ch, close the connection. Art. in the third p. of the first 3 ch. 18 loops.
Go to the yarn of golden (pink) color
KR 2: 3 ch, (1 ch, 1 ch, 2 ch) in the next. a chain of the 1st ch, (1 ch, 2 ch, 1 ch, 2 ch) into each chain of the 1st ch to the end, 1 ch, close the connection. Art. in the third VP of the first three. 24 loops.
Change to pink (golden) yarn
KR 3: ch 3, ch 2 in the next. a chain from the 1st ch, (3 CH) into each chain from the 1st ch to the end, close the connection. Art. in the third VP of the first three. 36 loops.
Change to white (light pink) yarn
KR 4:3 ch, (1 ch, 1 ch, 2 ch) into the space in front of the next cluster from ch, (1 ch, 2 ch, 1 ch, 2 ch) into the space between clusters from ch to the end, 1 ch, close the connection. Art. in the third VP of the first three. 48 loops.
Go to the yarn of golden (pink) color
KR 5: 3 ch, 1 CH in the next. a chain from the 1st ch, (2 CH) into each chain from the 1st ch to the end, close the connection. Art. in the third VP of the first three. Go to white (pale pink) yarn
KR 6: ch 3, 1 ch into the space in front of the next cluster from ch, (2 ch) into the space between the clusters from ch to the end, close the connection. Art. in the third VP of the first three.
KP 7-9: ch 3, 1 dc in each st to the end, close the conn. Art. for the third of the first three ch.
Go to the yarn of golden (pink) color
KR 10: ch 3, ch 1 in each st to the end, close the connection. Art. for the third of the first three ch.

Please note: if you intend to use the elephants as bookends, then at this stage stuff the toy and add weights. If not, then just hit it.

KR 11: 3 ch, 11 CH, (2 CH, 2 CH together) x 6 times, 12 CH, close the connection. Art. for the third of the first three ch. 42 loops.
KR 12: 3 ch, 8 CH, (2 CH, 2 CH together) x 6 times, 9 CH, close the conn. Art. for the third of the first three ch. 36 loops.
KR 13: 3 ch, 5 CH, (2 CH, 2 CH together) x 6 times, 6 CH, close the connection. Art. for the third of the first three ch. 30 loops.
KR 14: 3 ch, 5 CH, (1 CH, 2 CH together) x 6 times, 6 CH, close the conn. Art. for the third of the first three ch. 24 loops.
Insert the eyes at the base of KR 12.
KR 15: ch 3, 5 dc, (2 dc together) x 6 times, 6 dc, close conn. Art. for the third of the first three ch. 18 loops.
CR 16:3 ch, 5 CH, (2 CH together) x 3 times, 6 CH, close the connection. Art. for the third of the first three ch. 15 loops.
KR 17: ch 3, 2 dc, 2 dc together, (3 dc, 2 dc together) x 2 times, close conn. Art. for the third of the first three ch. 12 loops.
KR 18: ch 3, 1 dc, 2 dc together, (2 dc, 2 dc together) x 2 times, close conn. Art. for the third of the first three ch. 9 loops.
Hit to the top.
KR 19: 3 ch, 2 dc together, (1 dc, 2 dc together) x 2 times, close the conn. Art. for the third of the first three ch. 6 loops.
Close the last loop.

Eyelet
4 pcs (2 of each color)
Crochet 3.5 mm and cherry-colored yarn to tie an amigurumi ring, 4 sc in the ring, unfold. 4 loops
Row 1: ch 3 (count as 1 CH), 2 CH in the next. st, 3 dc in each st to end, turn. 12 loops.
Go to the yarn of golden (pink) color.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), 1 dc, 2 dc in each st to end, turn. 24 loops. Change to pink (gold) yarn
Row 3: ch 1 (does not count as a separate loop), 1 sc in each loop. Close the last loop.

Tusk
4 pcs. (2 of each color)
Crochet 3.5 mm and white (pale pink) yarn to tie an amigurumi ring, 5 sc in the ring. 5 loops.
KR 1: 1 sc in each st to end.
CR 2-4: 2 sc next. p., 1 sc in each p. to the end. 8 sts
KP 5: Repeat K1. Close the last loop.

Base
Crochet 3.5 mm and cherry-colored yarn to tie an amigurumi ring, 6 sc in the ring. 6 loops
KR 1: 1 ch, 2 sc in each loop to the end, close the connection. in the first p. 12 loops of
KR 2: 1 ch, (1 RLS, 2 RLS in the next loop) to the end, close the connection. in the first p. 18 loops of
KR 3: 1 ch, (2 RLS, 2 RLS in the next loop) to the end, close the connection. in the first p. 24 loops of
KR 4: 1 ch, (3 RLS, 2 RLS in the next loop) to the end, close the connection. in the first p. 30 loops
KR 5: 1 ch, behind the back walls of the loops 1 sc in each p. to the end.
Close the last loop.

Assembling the product
Sew up the tip of the trunk. To shape the already sewn and stuffed trunk and head. Sew a trunk in the head. Sew the ears to the body at the level of KP10. Sew tusks under the eyes. From the bottom behind the head, sew a slightly stuffed base.
