Luna Bunny Free Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Materials
– Scheepjes Catona color 509 Baby blue (40 gr)
– Spinrite Bernat Baby Velvet Yarn-Cuddly Cloud (20gr)
– Bergere de France Grizzly 100 color Sable (10gr)
– 1 pairs of 7 mm safety eyes
– Toy filling
– 2,5 mm and 3mm crochet hook

Finished size
Approximately 15cm from toes to top of head
Abbreviations
ch: chain
sts: stitch(es)
sl st: slip stitch

Difficulty: low

Tip
– You should use the Cross Stitch Single Crochet to make a beautiful bunny.
– If you make toy for children, be careful with the safety eyes. I recommend you embroider the eyes.
– Each round will be worked in a continuous spiral. Do not join rounds with slip stitch or turn unless the pattern indicates changes.
– Color change: You should finish the last step of the last single crochet with the new yarn.
– It’s highly recommended that you read through the pattern completely before making Luna bunny

Use the blue yarn and 2,5 mm crochet hook.

Cut the thread leaving enough length for sewing. Stuffing well with the fiberfill.
Make eye sockets, place the safety eyes between row 10 and 11 at about 10 sts apart.

EARS (Make 2)
Use the blue yarn and 2,5mm crochet hook.

Cut the thread leaving enough length for sewing. Sew the ears on row 1 and 2 of the head.

LEGS (Make 2)
Use the blue yarn and 2,5mm crochet hook.
Row 1: Cast on 6 sc in the magic ring (6)
Row 2: 6 inc (12)
Row 3: (1sc, 1inc) * 6 (18)
Row 4: BLO, 18 sc (18)
Row 5 – Row 7: 18sc (18)
Cut and secure the thread. Make the other leg but don’t cut the thread and continue working the body.

BODY
Row 1: sc in the following 18 sts of the second leg, Chain 3 and join with the first leg, sc in the
following 18 sts of the first leg, 3 sc in 3ch, place a stitch marker in the last sts [42]

Stuff the body. Cut and secure the thread. Sew the body to the head.

ARMS (Make 2)
Use blue yarn and 2,5mm crochet hook.
Row 1: 5 sc in the magic ring (5)
Row 2: 5 inc (10)
Row 3 – Row 13: 10 sc (10)
Row 14: 8sc, 1dec (9)
Stuff the arms. Cut and secure the thread leaving enough to sew on the arms between rounds 16
and 17 of the body.

MAKE UP
Apply pink blush on the face.

COAT
Note: If you don’t use the yarn that I recommended, make sure that you choose the yarn of the
coat’s double bigger than the yarn of the body. In addition, you need to use a hook’s bigger
0,5mm – 1mm than the hook for the body. Before making the coat, you chain 37 st and try it
around the body to make sure it’ll fit the body.

Example: In this pattern, I used the Scheepjes Catona that use the hook 2,5 – 3mm. For the body
I used the Bernat Baby Velvet Yarn that normally uses the hook 5mm but I chose the 3 mm
crochet hook.

Use 3mm crochet hook and Bernat Baby Velvet Yarn
Chain 37
Row 1: Start in the 2nd chain from the hook, 36 sc, turn back (36)
Row 2 – Row 11: 36 sc, turn back (36)
Row 12: (2sc, 1dec, 2 sc) * 6, turn back (30)
Row 13: 30 sc , turn back (30)
Row 14: 6sc, ch 5, sk 5sts, 8sc, ch 5, sk 5 sts, 6sc , turn back (30)
Row 15 – Row 16: 30 sc , turn back (30)
Change the yarn Bergere de France Grizzly 100 color Sable
Row 17 – Row 18: 30 sc, turn back (30).
Cut the yarn.

Sleeves (Make 2)
Use yarn Bernat Baby Velvet Yarn , insert 1 sc (count as sc) pick up 9 around (10)
Row 1 – Row 8: 10 sc (10)
Cut and secure the thread.
