Amigurumi Bat Crochet Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

You will need:
• Black Sirdar Country Style DK yarn
• Green Sirdar Soukie DK yarn
• Hooks 3mm, 3.5mm
• Safety eyes 10mm
• Stitch markers.
• Scissors
• Sewing needle
• Stuffing

Abbreviations:
KA = amigurumi ring
ch = air loop
sc = single crochet
inc = increase (2 sc in one loop)
decrease. = invisible dec (insert hook behind the front wall of the next two loops, yarn over, pull the thread through the first two loops, yarn over, knit both loops on

conn. Art. = connecting post

( ) = number of stitches per row
[ ] = repeat given instructions

Please note:This pattern is knitted mostly in the round. Do not close circles or turn unless otherwise instructed.

Head (hook 3 mm)
KR 1: 6 sc in the amigurumi ring
KR 2: [increase] repeat in a circle (12)
Kr 3: [1 sc, increase] repeat in a circle (18)
Kr 4: [1 sc, increase, 1 sc] repeat around (24)
CR 5: [inc, 3 sc] repeat around (30)
CR 6: sc in circle (30)
CR 7: [2 sc, increase, 2 sc] repeat around (36 )
Kr 8: [5 sc, inc] repeat around (42)
Kr 9: [3 sc, increase, 3 sc] repeat around (48)
Kr 10-15: sc in circle (48)
Kr 16: [6 sc, decrease] repeat in a circle (42)
KR 17:[3 sc, decrease, 2 sc] repeat in a circle (36)
KR 18: [dec, 4 sc] repeat in a circle (30)
Conn. Art. in the first p. of the circular row. Close the last loop. Place eyes between rounds 12 and 13, 6 sts apart.

Body (3 mm hook)
KR 1: 6 sc in the amigurumi ring
KR 2: [increase] repeat in a circle (12)
KR 3: [1 sc, increase] repeat in a circle (18)
KR 4: [1 sc, increase, 1 sc] repeat around (24)
CR 5: [inc, 3 sc] repeat around (30)
CR 6: [2 sc, increase, 2 sc] repeat around (36)
CR 7: [5 sc, increase ] repeat around (42)
CR 8: [3 prs, increase, 3 prs] repeat around (48)
CR 9-15: pr in a circle (48)
CR 16: [6 prs, decrease] repeat around (42 )
KR 17: Sc in a circle (42)
KR 18:[3 prs, decrease, 2 prs] repeat in a circle (36)
CR 19: [dec, 4 prs] repeat in a circle (30)
CR 20: prs in a circle (30)
Conn. Art. in the first p. of the circular row. Close the last loop, leave a long tail for sewing.

Paws (2 pcs, hook 3 mm)
KR 1: 6 sc in the amigurumi ring
KR 2: [increase] repeat in a circle (12)
KR 3: [1 sc, increase, 1 sc] repeat in a circle (16)
KR 4- 6: Sc in the round (16)
KR 7: [dec, 2 prs] repeat in the round (12)
KP 8: Fold the foot in half and knit to close the hole. Don’t hit. (6).
Close the last loop, leave a long tail for sewing.

Wings (2 pcs, hook 3 mm)

Row 1: Cast-on 3 sts without air sts from psn. Expand.
Mark the first st of the cast-on edge of the dc with a stitch marker, you will need this st for row 7.

Row 2: Ch 3, sc in second st from hook, dc in last ch. psn next. p., 2 psn in the next. p., psn in the last p. Expand.
Row 3: ch 1, 4 sc. Expand.
Row 4: Ch 3, sb in the second st from the hook, dc in the next. vp, psn in the next. p, sn, psn, sbn. Expand.
Row 5: ch 1 4 sc. Expand.
Row 6: Ch 2, sb in the second st from the hook, dc in the next. n, 2 psn in the next. p, sn, sbn.
Row 7: Find the top point of Row 3. Work dc, 2 dc at the top of this row.

2 psn in the first loop of the typesetting edge from psn, i.e. where you placed the stitch marker.
conn. Art. to the starting point – the very first ch that you knitted at the beginning of knitting the wing.

Close the last loop, leave a long tail for sewing. Hide the ends of the threads.

Ears (2 pcs., 3.5 mm hook)
Amigurumi ring and 2 ch.
Knit the following in the amigurumi ring:
psn, 2 sn, s2n, 2 ch, conn. Art. in the second ch from the hook, s2n into the amigurumi ring, 2 dc, psn.
Close the last loop, leave a long tail for sewing. Hide the ends of the threads.

Assembling the bat
Stuff the body and head, but not very tightly. This baby should be soft and pliable. Sew the head and body together using the remaining ponytails.
Sew the legs to the body at the level of round 6, 6 sts apart.
Next, sew the ears to the head and the wings to the body.

Scarf (green yarn, hook 3.5 mm)
52 ch dc in the third loop from the hook and in each loop to the end of the chain.
Close the last loop, hide the ends of the threads.
