Amigurumi Rooster Crochet Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Materials:

  • yarn of selected colors (YarnArt Jeans 160 m / 50 gr);
  • hook 2.25 mm and 1.4 mm (if you use a different yarn, you will have to choose the size of the hooks yourself);
  • filler;
  • stitching needle.

Abbreviations:
KA – amigurumi ring
sbn – single crochet
pr – increase
pr3 – 3 sbn in one loop
dec – decrease

By default, we use a 2.25 mm hook. Where a smaller hook is needed is indicated.Yarn colors are not indicated, as cockerels can be very different.Small details (wings, tail, paws, beak) I did not fill, but you can do as you like.

Do not break the thread on the second extreme feather. We connect the feathers in the tail:
Row 7:  Knit 3 sc in the first extreme feather, 4 sc in the middle feather, 6 sc in the second extreme feather, 4 sc in the remaining loops of the middle feather, 3 sc in the remaining loops of the first extreme feather (20) Row

Fold the piece in half and knit 9 sc.

Start knitting with a large crochet:

Change the hook to a smaller one:

On a small comb, do not break the thread and knit: 3 sc along the small comb, 4 sc along the middle comb, 12 sc along the large comb, 4 sc along the remaining loops of the middle comb, 3 sc along the remaining loops of the small comb (26) Stuff the part tightly.

Eyes

Also, eyes can be molded from polymer clay.

Assembly

  • Sew the tail to the 9th row of the body.
  • Sew the wings with a corner at the level of the 12th row.
  • Sew the comb in the middle of the head from above perpendicular to the tail.
  • On the eyes, embroider a pupil or sew on a bead (insert a safe eye).
  • Choose the position for the eyes and beak and sew. Fill the eyes a little before the end of sewing.
  • Sew the legs on the bottom of the body.
