Amigurumi Frog Doll Crochet Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

You will need:

  • Yarn 6 colors (50 g)
  • Hook 3 mm + large eye needle
  • Stuffing material
  • Safety eyes (6 mm and 9 mm)

Abbreviations:
sc = single crochet st
= st
2tog = 2 sts knit together
dc = half double crochet

Head:
With flesh-colored yarn
KR 1: 6 sc in the amigurumi ring (6)
KR 2 : 2 sc in each st in a circle (12)
KR 3: * 1 sc, 2 sc in the next. * repeat in a circle (18)
KR 4: * 2 sc, 2 sc in the next. * repeat in a circle (24)
KR 5: * 3 sc, 2 sc in the next. * repeat in a circle (30)
KR 6: * 4 sc, 2 sc in the next. * repeat in a circle (36)
KR 7: * 5 sc, 2 sc in the next. * rep in a circle (42)
KR 8-13: 1 sc ineach p. in a circle (42)
KR 14: *5 sc, 2 together* repeat in a circle (36

KR 16:*4 sc, 2tog* repeat in circle (30)
KR 17: *3sc, 2tog* repeat in circle (24)

Insert safety eyes (6 mm) between KR 12 and 13 at a distance of 7 loops between them.
KP 19: *1 sc, 2 together* repeat in a circle (12)

Stuff your head.

Beanie
With green yarn
KR 1: 6 sc in the amigurumi ring (6)
KR 2: 2 sc in each st in a circle (12)
KR 3: *1 sc, 2 sc in the next. * repeat in a circle (18)
KR 4: * 2 sc, 2 sc in the next. * repeat in a circle (24)
KR 5: * 3 sc, 2 sc in the next. * repeat in a circle (30)
KR 6: * 4 sc, 2 sc in the next. * repeat in a circle (36)
KR 7: * 5 sc, 2 sc in the next. * repeat in a circle (42)
KR 8-17: 1 sbn in each p. in a circle (42)
Connect. Art. in a trace. p., close the last loop.

Eyes (2 pcs.)
With white yarn
KR 1: 6 sc in the amigurumi ring (6)
KR 2: 2 sc in each stitch in a circle (12)
KR 3-5: 1 sc in each stitch in a circle (12)
Insert safety eyes (9 mm) into the center of the eyes
of KR 6: * 2 sc, 2 together * repeat in a circle (9)
Stuff the eye.
KP 7: (2tog) rep 4 times
Bind off last st, leave tail.
Pull off the hole by pulling the tail through the remaining loops.

Eyelids (2 pcs.)
With green yarn
KR 1 : 6 sc in the amigurumi ring (6)
KR 2: 2 sc in each stitch in a circle (12)
KR 3-6: 1 sc in each stitch in a circle (12)
Comm. Art. in a trace. p., close the last loop.
Place the eye in the eyelid and sew to the cap.

Crown
With yellow yarn
KR 1: ch 12, close in a ring.
KR 2: ch 2, sc in the next. p., repeat in a circle.
Close the last loop and leave a tail for sewing the crown to the cap.

Body
With green yarn
KR 1: 6 sc in the amigurumi ring (6)
KR 2: 2 sc in each st in a circle (12)

Stuff the body.
Sew the head to the body of a knitted amigurumi doll.

Hands (2 pcs.)
With flesh-colored yarn
KR 1: 6 sc in the amigurumi ring (6)
KR 2: * 1 sc, 2 sc in the next. * rep in a circle (9)
KR 3-5: 1 sc in each stitch in a circle (9)
KR 6: 2 sc, 2 together, 3 sc, 2 together (7)
Stuff the arm.
Change yarn to green.
CR 7-20: 1 sc in each st in a circle (7)
Comm. Art. in a trace. p., close the last loop.
Get a hand.
Sew the arms to the body.

Legs (2 pcs.)
With brown yarn
KR 1: 6 sc in the amigurumi ring (6)
KR 2: 2 sc in each st in a circle (12)
KR 3: * 3 sc, 2 sc in the next. * repeat in a circle (15)
KR 4-6: 1 sc in each p. in a circle (15)
KR 7: 4 sc, (2 together) x 3 times, 5 sc (12)
KR 8: 3 sc, (2 together) x 3 times, 3 sc (9)
KR 9-10: 1 sc in each st in a circle (9)
Stuff the foot.
Change yarn to green.
KR 11: 1 sc in each st in a circle behind the back walls of the loops (9)

KR 12-24: 1 sc in each st in a circle (9)
Connect. Art. in a trace. p., close the last loop.
Stuff your leg.
Knit a row of brown yarn behind the front walls of the loops KP 11.
Sew the legs to the body.

Pants
With red yarn
Row 1: ch 45 (45)
Row 2: unfold, knit in the second st from the hook, 44 sc (44)
Row 3: ch 1, unfold, 44 sc (44)
Row 4: ch 1, unfold , 44 dc (44)
Row 5: ch 1, turn, 44 sc (44)
Row 6: ch 1, turn, 44 dc (44)
Row 7: ch 1, turn, 44 sc (44)
Row 8: ch 1 , turn, 44 dc (44)
Row 9: ch 1, turn, * 4 sc, (2 together) x 7 times *, 3 sc in 3 remaining loops (37)
Row 10: ch 1, turn, * 4 sc, (2 together) x 6 times *, 2 sbn in 2 remaining loops (31)
Fold and connect the edges with the conn. Art., try on.
After connecting the edges, knit 3 ch, insert the hook into the 16th p., count to the right, knit the connection. Art. in the 16th p. (See Fig.)
First, tie one leg.

Note: when knitting the legs, it seems that you are knitting in the opposite direction, at the end you need to turn the panties.

Kr 11: 1 sc in each st in round (17) (15 sc + 2 sc in the chain of 3 ch you knitted earlier) Kr 12: 1 sc

KR 13: 5 , 2 sc in the next. p., 5 sc, 2 sc in the next. p., 4 sc, 2 sc in the next. p. (20)

Change yarn to yellow
KR 15: 1 sc in each p. in a circle (20)
Conn. Art. in a trace. p., close the last loop.
Now we start knitting another leg, it consists of 18 sbn, you can change this amount by reducing the number of increases in row 13 by one, so the total number will be 20 sbn.
Insert the hook into the last row of the left leg and repeat rows 11 to 15. Connect the legs at the back.

Front part
With yellow yarn
Row 1: ch 9 (9)
Row 2: turn, work in the second st from the hook, 8 sc (8)
Row 3: ch 1, turn, 8 dc (8)
Row 4: ch 1, unfold, 8 dc (8)
Row 5: ch 1, unfold, 8 dc (8)
Row 6: ch 1, unfold, 8 prs (8)
Close the last loop, sew to panties.

Straps (2 pcs.)
With red yarn
Row 1: ch 24 (24)
Row 2: unfold, knit in the second st from the hook, 23 sc (23)
Close the last loop and sew one side in front and the other behind the panties. Amigurumi doll is ready for a photo shoot!
