Amigurumi Bear Free Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Materials:

  • Hook: size 4,5mm and 2,5mm
  • 12mm safety eyes
  • stuffing
  • Yarn:
    For the teddy bear: 150g of worsted yarn for the base colour (colour 1), 50g of worsted yarn for the
    colour for the nose and foot (colour 2), a little bit of 100% cotton (50g = 170m)(super fine).
    For the blanket: 50g of worsted yarn for the blanket, a little ekstra worsted yarn for the edging.

The black part of the nose (use a 2,5mm hook and black super fine yarn):
NOTE: The nose I crocheted in rows not rounds.
Ch 2

Now its time to work around the triangle.
1sc more in the st you just made 2sc.

Make 2sc in the same st as you crocheted the 1.sc in row 5.
Cut the yarn and leave a long end to stitch the black part to the nose, and for embroidering the mouth.

Blanket (Colour 1 and 2):
Ch 36 in colour 2
1.row: 1hdc in the 2. St from the hook. Continue making 1hdc in each st. (35hdc in total.)
2.row: turn with 1ch, 1hdc in each st (35hdc in total).
3-42.row: as the 2.row.
Cut the yarn.
Now its time for the edging (colour 1)
Attach the yarn approx in the middle of the row.
Crochet 1sc in each st until you get to the corner.
3sc in the corner.
Approx 40sc along the side of the blanket. Thats roughly 1sc/row.
3sc in the corner.

!sc in each st until you reach the place you started the edging.
Cut the yarn.

Assemble the parts:
Stitch the head and body together. If the head is a bit loose you can stitch it together one round further
out. Place the nose right under the eyes, so the increases are pointing out to the sides.

The black part of the nose are stitched to the nose itself. Embroider the mouth. I have used the end from
the nose. Embroider eyebrows. You can experiment with making different expressions, by changing the
direction of the brows.
The ears are placed so that the bottom edge are at the same hight as the top part of the nose.

The arms should be soft, so don’t ad to much stuffing.
Attach the arms and legs as showed in the pictures above.

The tale are placed after the 9. rnd of the body. Stitch it on. Before you make the last few stitches, ad
the stuffing.
Embroider claws on the feet.
