Snowman Amigurumi Free Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Materials:
Crochet hook US size G/6 & H/8 (4 mm & 5 mm)
Ribbon (yarn)
Rainbow Cotton 8/4
1 pair of safety eyes 0.43 inches (18 mm)
Fiber fill approx. 7.1 oz. (200g)
Plastic pellets approx. 7.1 oz. (200g)
Sewing thread or embroidery yarn for the mouth
Measurements: approx. 11 inches (28 cm) tall

Yarn consumption – per snowman approx.:
White 6.5 oz. (185 g).
Black 1.4 oz. (40 g).
Orange 0.2 oz. (6 g).
Rainbow – red 0.53 oz. (15 g).
Abbreviations:
ch: chain stitch
s: stitch
sc: single crochet
hdc: half double crochet stitch
ss: slip stitch
blo: back loop only
tog: together

Note: Everything besides the scarf is crocheted in Ribbon using US hook size H/8 (5 mm).
The scarf is crocheted in Rainbow with double thread on US hook size G/6 (4 mm).
Body: in white

  1. Work a mr, and work 6 sc into the ring (6)
  2. Work 2 sc in each s around (12)
  3. Work “1 sc, 2 sc in the next s.” Repeat from “to” around (18)
  4. Work “1 sc in the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the next s.” Repeat from “to” around (24)
  5. Work “1 sc in the next 3 sts, 2 sc in the next s.” Repeat from “to” around (30)
  6. Work “1 sc in the next 4 sts, 2 sc in the next s.” Repeat from “to” around (36)
  7. Work “1 sc in the next 5 sts, 2 sc in the next s.” Repeat from “to” around (42)
  8. Work in blo “1 sc in the next 6 sts, 2 sc in the next s.” Repeat from “to” around (48)

    Put plastic pellets in a nylon stocking and place it in the bottom of the body.

    (48) Cut the yarn and leave a long tail for assembly.

Nose: – in orange

  1. Work a mr and work 6 sc into the ring (6)
  2. Work ”1 sc in the next s, 2 sc in the next s.” Repeat from “to” around (9)
  3. Work sc around (9)
  4. Work ”1 sc in the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the next s.” Repeat from “to” around (12) Fasten off and
    leave a long tail for assembly.

    Scarf: – Rainbow 8/4 double thread
  5. Ch 82.
  6. Work 1 hdc in the 3rd ch from the hook work hdc till the end of the row. (80)
  7. Turn by chaining 1, and work hdc in blo till the end of the row. (80)
  8. Turn by chaining 1, and work hdc in blo till the end of the row (80)
    Cut the yarn and weave in the end.

Assembly:
Sew the hat on to the head. Attach it a bit to one side, if you like.
Sew the nose on to the face.
Embroider the mouth. Add a bit of blush to create cheeks, if you like. Add a scarf to the snowman and now it’s ready.
