Easter Bunny Free Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Skill level: Intermediate
Crochet hook: 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm
Materials: A piece of pink scrap yarn for ears and nose, black embroidery thread for the mouth, 2 safety eyes 7 mm, stuffing, sewing thread
Yarn for bunny:
Rainbow Cotton 8/4:

Brown (#007) – 1 skein

Abbreviations:
MR = magic ring
sc = single crochet
ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
blo = back loop only
crab stitch = work from left to right: hold the yarn behind the work and insert the hook into the stitch to the right, make 1 sc
inc = increase, 2 stitches in the same st
dec = decrease, 2 stitches together
(…) = repeat
[…] = number of stitches on the entire round

Info
Use a hook size 3.5 mm for the basket, which is a smaller size than recommended for the yarn. The reason is that the basket must be worked firmly.

Nose
In pink or white

Weave in ends and sew the nose onto the head. Place the top of the nose between the eyes at rnd 10 and sew it on.
Embroider the nose with pink and the outlines with black.

Ear
Make 2 in white and 2 in pink.

Ch 20, begin in the 2nd ch from the hook, 18 sc, 3 sc in the last st, continue on the other side of the chains, 18 sc [39] weave in ends.

In white
Ch 20, begin in the 2nd ch from the hook, 18 sc, 3 sc in the last st, continue on the other side of the chains, 18 sc, but DON’T fasten off. Place the pink ear on top of the white ear and work an edge of sc around through both ears [39]
Sew the ears onto the top of the head at rnd 3.

Body
In white.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in a mr [6]

Stuff the body and leave a long tail for sewing the head onto the body.

Feet
In white.

Don’t stuff the feet. To make the toes, embroider two lines with pink on the feet. Leave a long tail for sewing the feet onto the body. Sew the heel (rnd 8) onto rnd 4 on the body.

Arms:
In white.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in a mr [6]
Rnd 2: (1 sc, inc) x3 [9]
Rnds 3-7: 1 sc in each st [9]
Stuff a bit of stuffing into the arms.
Rnd 8: Fold the arm flat and close the arm by working 4 sc through both sides. Leave a long tail for sewing the arms onto the body. Sew the arms onto each side of the body making them point forward a bit. Sew the top of the arm onto the body beginning at rnd 10.

Tail
In white.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in a mr [6]
Rnd 2: (1 sc, inc) x3 [9]
Rnd 3: (2 sc, inc) x3 [12]
Fasten off and stuff a bit of stuffing into the tail. Sew the tail onto the backside of the body placing the underside of the tail at rnd 4 on the body.

Easter egg
In Brown and with hook size 2.5 mm (or the same yarn as for the basket and hook size 3.5 mm)
Make as many eggs as you prefer.

Ch 6, begin in the 2nd chain from the hook.
Rnds 1-40: 5 sc, ch 1 and turn
Sew the handle firmly onto the inside of the basket.

Flowers
With Tweed Dreams in colors Sea Salt, Seaside Blue, Dark Mint, Pink Punch and Powder Rouge.
Make 3 flowers in Pink Punch – heart in Powder Rouge
Make 3 flowers in Powder Rouge – heart in Dark Mint
Make 3 flowers in Seaside Blue – heart in Sea Salt
The heart of the flower is 1 rnd only.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in a mr [6]
Change to next color.
Rnd 2: (Ch 2, 1 dc, ch 2, 1 sl st in the next sc) x 6 – to form 6 petals.
Weave in ends and use sewing thread to sew the flowers on. By using sewing thread, the thread will disappear into the yarn and will not show.

Leaf
Make 4 with Tweed Dreams in color Dark Mint
Ch 8, begin in the 2nd chain from the hook.
1 sl st, 1 sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 3 dc in the last st, continue on the opposite side of the chains, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 1 sc, finish with a sl st.
Fasten off and sew the leaves on below the handle.

And the basket is now finished!
