Amigurumi Unicorn Free Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

You will need:

  • YarnArt Jeans (white, blue, yellow, pink color) and Gazzal Baby Cotton (mint and peach color)
  • 2.00 mm crochet hook
  • 10 mm safety eyes
  • Two buttons
  • Fiberfill
  • Yarn needle and  scissors

Height: 15 cm standing

Abbreviations:
R – row
ch – chain
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
tr – treble crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)
BLO – back loop only
[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row
(…) – repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times

Head
With mint yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [18]
R 4: (2 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [24]
R 5: (3 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [30]
R 6: (4 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [36]
R 7-9: 36 sc (3 rows)
Switch to white yarn:
R 10: (5 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [42]
R 11: 42 sc
R 12: (6 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [48]
R 13: 48 sc
R 14: (7 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [54]
R 15-19: 54 sc (5 rows)
R 20: (7 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [48]

Insert eyes between R 13 and R 14 at the distance of 7 sc from each other.
R 24: (5 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [36]

R 27: (3 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [24]
Stuff.
R 28: (2 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [18]

Finish stuffing.

Fasten off.

Ears (make 2)
With white yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (1 sc, inc) repeat 3 times [9]
R 3: (2 sc, inc) repeat 3 times [12]
R 4: 12 sc
R 5: (3 sc, inc) repeat 3 times [15]
R 6-8: 15 sc (3 rows)
R 9: (3 sc, dec) repeat 3 times [12]
Don’t stuff.

Fold the top opening flat and 6 sc through both sides.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Sew ears between R 21 and R 22 at the distance of 7 sc from each other.

Horn
With mint yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: 6 sc [6]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 3 times [9]
R 4-5: 9 sc (2 rows)
R 6: (2 sc, inc) repeat 3 times [12]
R 7-8: 12 sc (2 rows)

Stuff.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Tail

Stuff 1/2 arm.
Fold the top opening flat and 4 sc through both sides.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Legs (make 2)
With mint yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [18]
R 4: (2 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [24]
R 5: sl st, BLO 24 sc
R 6-7: 24 sc (2 rows)
Switch to white yarn:
R 8: (2 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [18]
R 9-10: 18 sc (2 rows)
R 11: (1 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [12]
R 12-14: 12 sc (3 rows)
Stuff 1/2 leg.
Fold the top opening flat and 6 sc through both sides.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Heart
With mint yarn:
In magic ring:  2 ch, 3 dc, 4 sc, 1 dc, 4 sc, 3 dc, 2 ch.
Pull magic ring and fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Sew heart to the body.

Body
With mint yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [18]
R 4: (2 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [24]
R 5: (3 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [30]

Mane (make 1)
Make 23 ch. From the 4th ch from hook: 3 tr in every st to the end of row.

Sew mane to the back of the head.

Mane, long part (make 4)
Make 42 ch. From the 3rd ch from hook: 2 dc in every st to the end of row [80]

Mane, short part (make 3)
Make 21 ch. From the 2nd ch from hook: 2 sc in every st to the end of row [40]

Attach jointed legs using buttons.
