Amigurumi Harry Potter Free Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Materials and tools

– Crochet hook size 2.5 mm and 3 mm. Knitting needle size 4 mm ( US 6)
– Yarn ( I use double weight 2 yarn/ 202m ( 220yrd) / 100gr~3.53 oz , fiber content : 60% Combed Cotton 40% Polyester ) : Black, grey, dark grey, red, gold, white. This doll is about 20.5 cm ( 8 inches) if crocheted with double weight 2 yarn, using crochet hook size 2.5mm. You can use the same pattern to make smaller or larger toy by using finer or bulkier yarn.
– 10 mm black eyes for the doll.
– Fiberfill, black soft wires
– Sewing needle, some pins , hot glue or fabric glue.
– Pink blush.

Arms ( make two)
Begin with skin color yarn, use crochet hook size 2,5 mm.
Rnd 1: [sc] 7 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop
Rnd 2 – Rnd 3: 7 sc (7)
Change the colour to grey with the last st of Rnd 3
Rnd 4 – Rnd 15: 7 sc (7)
Fasten off

Legs ( make two)
First, you will make an oval by crocheting around the foundation chain. Begin with black yarn. Use crochet hook size 2,5 mm.
Right leg:
Rnd 1: Chain 6
Rnd 2: sc in next st from the hook, 3sc, inc4, 3sc , inc3 (14)
Rnd 3: 4 sc, 4inc , 4sc, 2 inc (20)
Rnd 4: BLO 20 sc (20)

Change the color to dark grey with the last st of Rnd 6

Left leg and body

Start stuffing and insert soft wires inside the doll’s body

Continue crocheting the head after completing Round 38 of the Body. Crochet the collar before crocheting the head.

Collar : Work in the front loops on Rnd 35: Begin with white.
Rnd 1 : chain 1 and hdc in same st, ( 1 inc, 1 sc) * repeat 4 times, 1 inc, in the next st: 1 hdc, chain 1, slst and fasten off.
Sew gold yarn through each st on Rnd 24 and Rnd 34.

Start stuffing the head and add safety eyes between Rnd 47 and Rnd 48. The space between two holes that you put safety eyes is 8 stitches and the space between two eyes is 6 stitches.

Cast on 8 sts in the red color.
Knitting: ( 1K, 1P)* repeat 4 times Change color every 4 rows. Total: 52 rows Cast off.

Fasten off

Hair Wig :

Begin with black. Use crochet hook size 2,5 mm. Crochet loosely.
Rnd 1: [sc] 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop
Rnd 2: 6 inc (12)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, 1 inc)* repeat 6 times, slst (18)
Rnd 4 – Rnd 8: Chain 9, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 7 hdc, slst on back loops on (8)
Rnd 9: chain 10 , sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 8 hdc, slst. ( 9)
Rnd 10 – Rnd 21: chain 16 , hdc in the 3rd ch from the hook, 12 hdc, slst. (13)
Rnd 22: chain 10, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 8 hdc, slst. (9)
Rnd 23 – Rnd 27: chain 9, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 7 hdc, slst on front loops on R3 . (8)

Snitch
Begin with golden acrylic yarn. Use crochet hook size 2,5 mm.
Ball
Rnd 1: [sc] 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop
Rnd 2: 6 inc (12)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, 1 inc)* repeat 6 times (18)
Rnd 4 – Rnd 8: 18 sc (18)
Rnd 9: (1 sc, 1 dec)* repeat 6 times (12)
Rnd 10: 6 dec (6)
Slst and fasten off. Sew the hole.

Wing: make two. Work in flat
Rnd 1: chain 10 . ( leave a long tail before crocheting to sew wings on the ball)
Rnd 2: sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 2 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 3 sc. Chain 1 and turn ( 9)
Rnd 3: slst, 2 sc, 3 inc, 1 sc, slst.
Fasten off
Sew wings on two opposite sides of the ball.

Eyeglasses
Use a thin black wire. Roll the thin wire around the tube or anything you have that has cylinder shape to make the hoops.

Assembling
Doll’s Face

 Sew eyebrown, eyelid
 Sew nose of your doll with skin color yarn.
 Sew ears between Rnd 46 and 48. The space between ear and eye is 6 sts

Doll’s Hair
Secure each strand of hair in its appropriate position on the head using pins. Slowly remove one strand at a time to apply fabric glue and pin it back down to dry.
The “wrong” side is up.
There are 12 strands behind the ears ( R10 – R21 ), 2 strands above the ears ( R22 and R9), 10 strands for bangs ( R4 and R23- R27 for under layer, R5 – R10 for above layer)

Sew the lightening bolt-shaped scar above the right eyebrow.
Use pink blush makeup powder or acrylic paint to make blush on doll’s cheeks.
