Amigurumi Chick Crochet Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Abbreviations

MR– magic ring
sc– single crochet
hdc– hald double crochet
inc– increase (2 single crochet in 1 stitch)
dec– decrease (invisible decrease)
BLO– back loop only
slst– slip stitch

Materials

• Yarn: sport or DK light weight yarn.
• Crochet hook: 2mm- 2.5mm
• Black embroidery thread
• Fiberfill
• Yarn needles
• Safety eyes size 5-6mm

Body

Star with yellow yarn:

Beak (orange yarn)

• Big piece
Make 6 chain, from ch2 make 1sc, 3hdc, 1sc (5), slst

Leave long tail for sewing.
• Small piece
Make 2 chains, insert the hook into first chain,
make 3sc, 1 chain, slst. Cut the yarn, leave a long
tail for sewing.

Wing*2

Rnd 1. 4sc in MR (4)
Rnd 2. 4 inc (8)
Rnd 3. (3sc,inc)*2 (10)
Rnd 4. (4sc,inc)*2 (12)
Rnd 5-9. (5rnds) 12sc (12)

Cut the yarn, leave a long tail for sewing.

Feet*2

Make 2 chain, insert the hook into first chain,
make 3sc, 1 chain, slst. Cut the yarn, leave a long tail
and sew to the body.

Hat

Rnd 1. 8sc in MR (8)
Rnd 2. 8 inc (16)
Rnd 3-4. (2rnds) 16sc (16)

Cut the yarn, leave long tail for sewing.
