Amigurumi Baby Lion Free Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

You will need:

  • Yarn: Softy ALIZE
  • 1.75 mm crochet hook
  • Thin thread in the tone of yarn for sewing details
  • Yarn needle
  • Fiberfill

Height: 24 cm

Abbreviations:
R – row
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
tr – treble crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)
[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row
(…) – repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times

Head
With yellow yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [18]
R 4: (2 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [24]
R 5: (3 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [30]
R 6: (4 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [36]
R 7: (5 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [42]
R 8-15: 42 sc (8 rows)
R 16: (5 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [36]
R 17: (4 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [30]
R 18: (3 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [24]

With yellow yarn:

Switch to yellow yarn:

Stuff only bottom of the arm.

Legs (make 2)
With white yarn:

R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [18]
R 4-7: 18 sc (4 rows)
R 8: (1 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [12]
R 9: (4 sc, dec) repeat 2 times [10]
Switch to yellow yarn:
R 10-22: 10 sc (13 rows)

Stuff only bottom of the leg.

Muzzle

Part 1
With white yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [18]
R 4-5: 18 sc (2 rows)

Part 2
With yellow yarn:
Make 6 ch, from the 2nd ch from hook: 5 sc, turn, 5 sc, turn, 5 sc.
Leave a long tail for sewing.

Nose
With beige yarn:
Make 6 ch.
R 1: from the 2nd ch from hook: 4 sc, 3 sc in last st, 3 sc, 2 sc in next st [12]
R 2: 2 sc; 1 sc, 1 tr in next st; 1 tr, 1 sc in next st; 2 sc.

Ears (make 2)
With yellow yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times (18)
R 4-5: 18 sc (2 rows)
Don’t stuff.
Fold the top opening flat and sc through both sides.
Fasten off.

Tail (make 2)

Part 1
With yellow yarn:
Make 20 ch.

Part 2
With white yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3-4: 12 sc (2 rows)
Don’t stuff.
R 5: (dec) repeat 6 times [6]

Sew part 2 to part 1.

Mane
With orange yarn:
Cut the yarn into pieces of 6 cm. Make fringe like for scarf ends.
