<p><strong>Completion</strong></p>



<p>• Sew wings to the body. The tip stitch to the back. Place them sideways 1st above the legs. Just sew the front part. The wings do have a visible distance of about 10 stitches from each other (seen from the belly).<br>• Sew the tail to the body between the wings on the back, above round 26-28. Stuff it lightly when sewing. Depending on the direction of the row part of the tail, the tail is facing up or down (my rows facing downwards).<br>• Sew the beak to the center of the head over rounds 11-12. The threads from the color change will suffice for stuffing. The increase from round 5 is on top.<br>• Embroider the eyes to the right and left of the beak, 1 stitch apart of it, over rounds, 10-11. Feel free to embroider them as you like them best.</p>

<p><strong>You will need:</strong></p>



<ul><li>YarnArt Jeans yarn: white (01), black (53), orange (61), dark pink (42), peach (43), pink (36)</li><li>2.5 mm crochet hook</li><li>5 mm safety eyes</li><li>Some wire (diameter: 2.0 mm)</li><li>Fiberfill</li><li>Sewing needle, scissors, wire cutter and round nose pliers</li></ul>



<p><strong>Height: </strong>9 cm (3.5″)</p>



<p><strong>Abbreviations:<br></strong>R – row<br>ch – chain<br>sc – single crochet<br>sl st – slip stitch<br>popcorn st – popcorn stitch (3dc popcorn)<br>dc – double crochet<br>inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)<br>dec – decrease (2 sc together)<br>FLO – front loop only<br>[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row<br>(…) – repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times</p>



<p><strong>Head</strong><br>With orange yarn:<br>R 1: 5 sc in magic ring [5]<br>R 2: (inc) repeat 5 times [10]<br>R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 5 times [15]<br>R 4: 1 sc, inc, (2 sc, inc) repeat 4 times, 1 sc [20]<br>R 5-8: 20 sc (4 rows)<br>Insert safety eyes between R 6 and R 7 at the distance of 6 st in between the eyes.<br>R 9: 1 sc, dec, (2 sc, dec) repeat 4 times, 1 sc [15]<br>R 10: (1 sc, dec) repeat 5 times [10]<br>R 11: (dec) repeat 5 times [5]<br>Stuff with fiberfill.<br>Fasten off.</p>

<p>Insert the wire into the beak.<br>Sew the beak between the eyes. Shape the beak with your hands.</p>
