From here you work the points of the crown as follows:
R4: ch 6, begin in 2 nd ch from hook and work 1 sl st, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 trc, skip 2 sc from R3, 1 sl st repeat a total of 5 times.
Sew the crown on the top of the strawberry.

Bee
With black (009), pastel yellow (053) and white (001).
Begin with black:

Change to yellow:

R4: 1 sc in each stitch [9]
Change to black:

Stuff the bee and bind off by pulling the thread through the front loops of the stitches on R9.
Place the bee on the strawberry and sew it on with little stitches. Use the end of the thread to
make 6 little legs (3 on each side) by making longer stitches on the side of the body. See
photo.

Wings for the bee
Make 2 with white (001).
R1: 6 sc in MR [6]
Bind off and sew the wings on to the bee, embroider the eyes with black on R9.

· Stuff the body firmly with fiberfill.
· Sew the arms on on rnd 33.
· Sew the wings diagonally on rnds 34-36. Be careful to place the arms beneath the wings.
· Sew the sting on in the middle of the back side.
· Stuff the head firmly with fiberfill.
· Sew the hood onto the head with the front edge approx. 4 rows above the eyes.
· Sew the head onto the body.
· Sew the antennas on on rnds 12-14 with 13 sc in between.
· Sew the nose onto the head on rnds 16-19.
· Embroider the eyes close to the nose.
