Plush Teddy Bear Free Crochet Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

You will need:

  • Hiamalaya Dolphin Baby yarn in white and main (0.5 skein) color
  • 4.0-4.5 mm crochet hook
  • 9 mm safety eyes
  • Black, brown or other yarn for embroidering a nose and eyebrows
  • Some thread for sewing (main color)
  • Sewing needle, scissors
  • Satin ribbon for a bow
  • Fiberfill

Height: 21 cm (8.2”)

Abbreviations:
R – row
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
5trB – 5 treble crochet bobble stitch
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)
BLO – back loop only
[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row
(…) – repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times

Ears (make 2)
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: 12 sc
Fold the top opening flat and sc through both sides.
Fasten off.

Head
With white color:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: (inc, 1 sc) repeat 6 times [18]
R 4: 18 sc
Change to main color:
R 5: 6 sc, 6 inc, 6 sc [24]
Insert safety eyes on R 5.
R 6: 6 sc, (inc, 1 sc) repeat 6 times, 6 sc [30]
R 7: (inc, 4 sc) repeat 6 times [36]
R 8-10: 36 sc (3 rows)
R 11: attach the ears: 10 sc, 6 sc together with sc of the 1st ear, 4 sc, 6 sc together with sc of the 2nd ear, 10 sc [36]
R 12: 36 sc
R 13: (4 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [30]
R 14: (3 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [24]
R 15: (2 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [18]
R 16: (1 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [12]
R 17: (dec) repeat 6 times [6]
Fasten off.

Legs (make 2)
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: (inc, 1 sc) repeat 6 times [18]
R 4: BLO 18 sc
R 5: 18 sc
R 6: (1 sc, dec) repeat 3 times, 9 sc [15]

R 13: 11 sc only
Fold the top opening flat and 6 sc through both sides.

Arms (make 2)

R 11: (1 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [18]

R 15: attach the arms: 4 sc together with sc of the first arm, 4 sc, 4 sc together with sc of the second arm, 3 sc, 1 sl st
Fasten off.

Assembly
Sew the head to the body. Use thread or fine yarn for sewing the head to the body.
