Little Monster Free Crochet Pattern
Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner
YARN: Medium Weight Cotton Yarn (Lace 4) in Red and White
OTHER MATERIALS: Polyester Fiber Filling, Two 10 mm Black Plastic Safety Eyes, White Felt
HOOK SIZES: E/3.50 mm; 2.75 mm
STITCHES USED and ABBREVIATIONS: magic ring (mr), chain (ch), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), back loop only (BLO), decrease (dec), increase (inc), fasten off (F/O).
INSTRUCTIONS: work in rows (join with sl st and ch1 at the end of each row).
EYES AND BODY (red yarn; 3.5 mm hook)
Long eye:
1) 8 sc in a mr (8)
2) sc inc around (16)
3-6) sc even (16)
Cut a round piece of felt and create a hole in it with your scissors, then insert the safety eye between rounds #3-4. Glue down the felt to the crocheted eye.
7) sc dec around (8)
8-17) sc even (8); F/O, cut and hide the yarn; stuff the eye
Short eye:
1) 8 sc in a mr (8)
2) sc inc around (16)
3-6) sc even (16)

8-13) sc even (8); F/O, cut and hide the yarn; stuff the eye
Merge the two eyes together:
Place the eyes side by side. Secure the position inserting a stich marker into the side stitches.
1) facing the back of the eyes, join the yarn into the right marked stitch with a sl st (short eye), then join the left marked stitch with a sl st (long eye), ch1 and sc in the same st, crochet 7 sc, keep working on the short eye, crochet 8 sc, close the round (16)
Make sure, once joined together, the eyes are pointing to the same direction
2) *1 sc, 1 sc inc*, repeat ** around (24); keep stuffing as you go
3) *2 sc, 1 sc inc*, repeat ** around (32)
4-5) sc even (32)
6) *3 sc, 1 sc inc*, repeat ** around (40)
7) sc even (40)
8) *4 sc, 1 sc inc*, repeat ** around (48)
9) 16 sc, 19 sc in BLO, working in both loops now, 13 sc (48)
10-17) sc even (48)
18) *6 sc, 1 sc dec*, repeat ** around (42)
19) *5 sc, 1 sc dec*, repeat ** around (36)
20) *4 sc, 1 sc dec*, repeat ** around (30); keep stuffing
21) working in BLO, *3 sc, 1 sc dec*, repeat ** around (24)
22) working in both loops now, *2 sc, 1 sc dec*, repeat ** around (18)
23) *1 sc, 1 sc dec*, repeat ** around (12); finish stuffing the doll firmly
24) sc dec around (6); F/O and cut the yarn.
TEETH (white yarn; 2.75 mm hook)
1) join the white yarn in the first FLO of round #8, work 1 sl st, *1 sc and 1 hdc in the next st, 1 ch, 1 hdc and 1 sc in the next st*, repeat ** 6 times (6 teeth); F/O and hide the yarn
ARMS (red yarn; 3.5 mm hook; make two)
1) 6 sc in a mr (6)
2-9) sc even (6)
10) flatten the arm and work through both layers now, 3 sc (3)
F/O and leave a long tail of yarn to sew the arm between rounds #9-10 of the body.
LEGS (red yarn; 3.5 mm hook; make two)
1) 6 sc in a mr (6)
2) sc inc around (12)
3-4) sc even (12); F/O and leave a long tail of yarn to sew the leg underneath the body.
Stuff the leg as you sew it.
