Gazelle Free Crochet Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

YARN: Bulky (5) DHG Piuma – Cinnamon, Sand and Dark

MATERIALS: 4.5 mm Hook and 3.5 mm Hook; Poly Stuffing

DIMENSION: 11” x 5” (28 x 14 cm)

ABBREVIATIONS: magic ring (mr), stitch (st), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), back loop only (BLO), front loop only (FLO), fasten off (F/O)

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner

LEGS & BODY (cinnamon and sand yarn; 4.5 mm hook)

Make two:

Rnd 1: starting off with cinnamon yarn, 6 sc in a mr (6)

Rnd 2: (2 sc, 1 sc inc) rep twice (8)

Rnds 3 – 11: sc even (8); F/O and stuff the legs.

Do not cut the yarn once you have completed the 2nd leg, ch 4 instead

Merge the two legs together

Rnd 12: join the yarn to the FLO of the 1st stitch of the 1st leg, crochet 1 sc into the same st, then crochet 7 more sc; continue working on the chs between the two legs, crochet 1 hdc in each ch; keep working on the 2nd leg, insert the hook into the 1st ch of the last rnd, work 1 sc, then work 1 sc in each of the remaining 7 sts; continue working on the chs between the two legs, 4 hdc (24)

Rnd 13: (2 sc, 1 sc inc) rep around (32)

Rnd 14: 10 sc, switch to sand yarn, 6 sc, switch back to cinnamon yarn, 16 sc (32)

Rnds 15 – 23: repeat rnd #10 (32); keep stuffing

Rnd 24: keep working with cinnamon yarn, 4 sc, 1 sc dec, 4 sc, switch to sand yarn, 6 sc, switch back to cinnamon yarn, 5 sc, 1 sc dec, 9 sc (30)

Rnd 25: working with cinnamon yarn only, sc even (30)

Rnd 26: (3 sc, 1 sc dec) rep around (24)

Rnd 27: sc even (24)

Rnd 28: (2 sc, 1 sc dec) rep around (18)

Rnd 29: sc even (18)

Rnd 30: working in FLO, sc inc around (36)

Rnd 31: sc even (36)

Rnd 32: (5 sc, 1 sc inc) rep around (42)

Rnd 33: (6 sc, 1 sc inc) rep around (48)

Rnds 34 – 41: sc even (48)

Rnd 42: (4 sc, 1 sc dec) rep around (40)

Rnd 43: (3 sc, 1 sc dec) rep around (32)

Rnd 44: (2 sc, 1 sc dec) rep around (24)

Rnd 45: (1 sc, 1 sc dec) rep around (16); finish stuffing the body firmly

Rnd 46: sc dec around (8); F/O, cut the yarn and wave in end

MUZZLE (sand yarn; 4.5 mm hook)

Rnd 1: 6 sc in a mr (6)

Rnd 2: sc inc around (12)

Rnd 3: (1 sc, 1 sc inc) rep around (18)

Rnd 4: (5 sc, 1 sc inc) rep around (21)

Rnd 5 – 6: sc even (21); F/O and leave a long strand of yarn to sew the muzzle to the front part of the head between rnds # 30-36. Stuff it while sewing.

Embroider the NOSE with black yarn.

To create the EYES, embroider 3 vertical lines (3 sts long) with black yarn between rnds # 34-38, 10 stitches apart. Embroider a short horizontal line on the eye (as shown in the picture), to create the EYE GLARE.

Embroider the EYEBROWS with black yarn, between rnds #37-41, approximately 13 stitches apart.

HORNS (dark yarn; 3.5 mm hook)

Rnd 1: 6 sc in a mr (6)

Rnd 2 – 7: sc even (6); F/O and leave a long strand of yarn to sew the horns to the top of the head between rnds # 45-47.

Stuff the horn lightly before sewing them to the head.

EARS (cinnamon and sand yarn; make two; 4.5 mm hook)

Rnd 1: starting off with cinnamon yarn, 5 sc in a mr (5)

Rnd 2: 4 sc, 1 sc inc (6)

Rnd 3: 3 sc, switch to sand yarn, 1 sc inc, switch back to cinnamon yarn, 2 sc (7)

Rnd 4: 3 sc, switch to sand yarn, 1 sc, 1 sc inc, switch back to cinnamon yarn, 2 sc (8)

Rnd 5: 3 sc, switch to sand yarn, 1 sc, 1 sc inc, 1 sc, switch back to cinnamon yarn, 1 sc, 1 sc inc (10)

Rnd 6: 2 sc, 1 sc inc, switch to sand yarn, 4 sc, switch back to cinnamon yarn, 1 sc inc, 2 sc (12)

Rnd 7: 4 sc, switch to sand yarn, 4 sc, switch back to cinnamon yarn, 4 sc (12)

Rnd 8: 1 sc, 1 sc dec, 1 sc, switch to sand yarn, 2 sc dec, switch back to cinnamon yarn, 1 sc, 1 sc dec, 1 sc (8)

Rnd 9: working with cinnamon yarn only, 1 sc dec, 4 sc, 1 sc dec (6); F/O and leave a long strand of yarn to sew the ear to the top of the head between rnds # 40-44. Do not stuff the ear.

Embroider 3 lines on the inner part of the ear with black thread, as shown in the pictures.

ARMS (cinnamon yarn; make two)

Rnd 1: 6 sc in a mr (6)

Rnd 2: (2 sc, 1 sc inc) rep twice (8)

Rnds 3 – 4: sc even (8)

Rnd 5: (2 sc, 1 sc dec) rep twice (6)

Rnd 6 – 12: sc even (6); F/O and leave a long strand of yarn to sew the arm to the side of the body, between rnds # 24-27. Stuff the arms lightly.
