Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Materials

hook 4 mm;

cotton yarn: main color – 2 skeins, second color – 1 skein. For blue jellyfish, two shades of blue were used, for purple jellyfish – light purple and pink;

safe eyes 9 mm;

threads of the mulina are black;

scissors;

polystyrene filler.

Note: the author used a 4 mm hook to knit the head, for the tentacles used a 4 mm hook ( for blue jellyfish ) and 5 mm ( for purple ).

Symbols
connection art. – connecting column
vp — air loop
Satn – table without cape
psn – half-column
ssn – table with nakid
* * – the retractor section is highlighted with asterisks

Head / Face
Row 1: Tie 8 Satins into the Amiugurumi Ring. Soyed. Art. Sat ( 8 )
Row 2: 1 vp, 2 Sat in each. Sat to the end of the row. Soyed. Art. Sat ( 16 )
Row 3: 1 vp, * 1 Sat next. Satn, increase * repeat to the end of the row. Soyed. Art. Sat ( 24 )
Row 4: 1 vp, * 1 Sat in each. from the next. 2 Sat, increase * repeat to the end of the row. Soyed. Art. Sat (32 )
Row 5: 1 vp, * 1 Sat in each. from the trace. 3 Sat, increase * repeat to the end of the row. Soyed. Art. Sat (40 )
Row 6: 1 vp, * 1 Sat in each. from the trace. 4 Sat, increase * repeat to the end of the row. Soyed. Art. Sat (48 )
Rows 7-8: 1 vp, 1 Sat in each. Sat to the end of the row. Soyed. Art. Sat ( 48 )
Row 9: 1 vp, * 1 Sat in each. from the trace. 5 Sat, increase * repeat to the end of the row. Soyed. Art. Sat (56 )
Rows 10-14: 1 vp, 1 Sat in each. Sat to the end of the row. Soyed. Art. Sat ( 56 )
Row 15: 1 vp, * 1 sbn in cajd. from the next. 2 sbn, decrease, 1 sbn in the next. Satn, decrease * repeat until the end of the row. Soyed. Art. Sat ( 40 )
Fasten the thread and hide the ends.

Lower jellyfish
Row 1: 1 vp, 8 sbn in the ring of amiugurumi. Soyed. Art.
Soyed. Art. Sat (32 )
Row 5: 1 vp, * 1 ss in each. from the trace. 3 abn, increase * repeat to the end of the row. Soyed. Art. Sat (40 )
Fasten the thread, but leave a long enough end to execute the connection row of the Sat in the circle (about 60 cm ).

Dumbass
According to the author, tentacles in the technique of freemasons are best obtained. They all differ, but you can use one principle to make them similar. You can bind the sample from this description of the amigurumi jellyfish to understand how each type of curl will look. In addition, you can change the hook number to get a different result. For blue jellyfish, the author used a hook of 4 mm, and for purple — 5 mm. Each jellyfish has 8 tentacles, different widths and lengths.

Type a chain of 30, 40, 50, 60 or even 70 pack.
Link 2 ( or 3 ) Sat to each loop of the chain OR tie 2 ( or 3 ) psn to each loop of the chain. If you knit the Sat, then start with the 2nd loop from the hook. If you knit a psn, then start with the 3rd loop from the hook.
Choose your knitting method. Continue to knit sbn or psn, 2 or 3 each. loop to the end of the chain, fix the thread, leaving the end.

If you adhere to one principle of knitting ( Satn or Psn ) on a sufficiently long stretch, then you get the correct curl, then you can change the technique and get another type of curl. Do not change the type of column too often. You can give the curls the correct shape or leave them disordered as you like best!

Assembly
Step 1: Attach safe eyes between rows 12 and 13 at a distance of 8 Sat between them.
Step 2: Use mulina to embroider the mouth.
Step 3: Attach the tentacles to the bottom of the jellyfish, threading both ends of the threads through the holes between the columns and tying the double knot. The ends will be hidden inside the filled head of the jellyfish.
Step 4: Combine the edges of the bottom of the jellyfish and its head. Connect the parts by tying them around the edge through all 4 walls of the ( hinges and the bottom panel ) with columns without a cape.
Step 5: When you finish almost to the end, fill your head, then continue to knit the Satn to close the hole. Tie the connection. Art. in the first Sat. Fasten the thread and hide the ends.

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Supplies:
4mm crochet hook, 4/Medium weight yarn in any desired colors, and white for the cheeks. 12mm safety eyes, safety nose, tapestry needle, scissors, and stuffing.

Additional Information:
Difficulty: Easy
This pattern refers to “Main Color”, which is the main color you want your seal to be. I used grey as the “Main Color” for mine. You can use any “Main Color” you want. First, we start by making the head, which leads into the body. They are both one piece. Next, we make the cheeks, tail, and then arms. Then we’re done!

Body:

In Main Color

Round 1: 6 Sc in Magic Ring (6)
Round 2: *Inc* all around (12)
Round 3: *Inc in the next st, Sc in the next st* all around (18)
Round 4: *Inc, Sc 2* 2 times. *Inc* in the next st, Sc in the next st. Sc in the next st and add a different colored st marker to the Sc just made. This marks the eye. *Inc in the next st, Sc in the next 2 st* 2 times. Add a different colored st marker to the last Sc you just made. Inc in the next st, Sc in the last 2 st (24)

Round 4 Eye Markers will look like this

Round 5: *Inc, Sc 3* all around (30)
Round 6: *Inc, Sc 4* all around (36)
Round 7: *Inc, Sc 5* all around (42)
Add safety eyes in marked areas here. Also add a safety nose to the very middle of the Magic Ring here.

Round 8-23: *Sc* all around (42)
Round 24: *Dec, Sc 5* all around (36)
Round 25-27: *Sc* all around (36)
Round 28: *Dec, Sc 4* all around (30)
Round 29-31: *Sc* all around (30)
Stuff body here. Add stuffing after each of the following rounds.

Round 32: *Dec, Sc 3* all around (24)
Round 33: *Dec, Sc 2* all around (18)
Round 34: *Dec, Sc* all around (12)
Round 35: *Dec* all around (6)
Finish off. Add any additional stuffing and sew closed.

Cheeks: (Make 2)

In White

Round 1: 6 Sc in Magic Ring (6)
Round 2: *Inc, Sc* all around (9)
Round 3-4: *Sc* all around (9)
Finish off and pin to the head, under the eyes. Sew on.

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

The final size of the jellyfish is about 15 to 18 inches long, with the head about 5 inches across. The length of the jellyfish is up to you and how you want to make and arrange the curly cues. I did notice that after some hard playing, my son’s jellyfish’s curly cues loosened and lengthened a bit.

Just one piece of advice/warning. If you are making this for small children, PLEASE supervise their play. These are long curly cues, and God forbid it becomes a strangulation hazard. This pattern was not designed to be dangerous, but, well, kids. So, be careful if they’re flinging it around, and especially don’t let kids sleep with their jellyfish friends. Maybe it is safer to let them hang out in the bathroom as a cute little towel.

SUPPLIES

G (4 mm) hook (Clover Amour Hook*)

Note: I used a G hook for the head of the jellyfish, but tried both a G hook (blue jellyfish) and an H hook (purple jellyfish) for the curly cues.

Yarnspirations Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Yarn: main color – 2 skeins, secondary color – 1 skein

The Blue jellyfish is Robin’s Egg Blue and Mod Blue. The Purple jellyfish is Soft Violet and Hot Pink.

9mm safety eyes

Black DMC embroidery thread

Round 4: Ch 1. *Work 1 sc into each of next 2 stitches, 2 sc into next stitch.* Repeat around. Join with sl st to first sc. (32)

Round 5: Ch 3 (does not count as stitch). *Work 1 dc into each of next 3 stitches, 2 dc into next stitch.* Repeat around. Join with sl st to first sc. (40)

Fasten off, but leave a long enough tail to sc around. (Probably a few feet at least).

Jellyfish streamers/tentacles

I found the streamers were easiest and most fun when done freeform. All of them are a little different, but I used the same basics for each one to maintain consistency. You can check out my curly cue sampler to get an idea of what each type of curl will look like. Also, you can change up the hook size for a different look. I used a G hook for the blue jellyfish and an H hook for the purple jellyfish. On each jellyfish, there are 8 tentacles of varying width and length.

Chain either 30, 40, 50, 60 or even 70.

Work 2 (or 3) sc in each chain stitch OR work 2 (or 3) hdc in each chain stitch. If you’re starting with sc, then work into 2nd chain from hook. If you’re starting with hdc, then work into 3rd chain from hook.

Now, think of this as a Choose Your Own Crochet Adventure. Continue working sc or hdc, working 2 or 3 stitches into each chain across, then fasten off, leaving a tail.

I found it best if you stick with a particular pattern long enough to establish the right curl, then change it to create a different type curl. Don’t change your stitch type too quickly. You can curl the curly cues properly or leave it messy, up to you!

Assembly

Step 1: Attach the safety eyes between rows 12 and 13 on the cap, about 8 stitches apart.

Step 2: Use the embroidery thread to sew on a mouth halfway between the eyes.

Step 3: Attach the tentacles to the bottom panel by weaving both tails of the tentacles through stitch spaces in the panel, and tie a double knot to secure. You can weave the ends in, or maybe not, since it’ll be hidden inside the stuffed head. I chose to weave in ends because I don’t know how hard the kids will pull on the tentacles.

Step 4: Match up the seam stitch of the panel against the seam stitch of the cap. Insert your hook through both loops (front to back) on one stitch on the cap, and pull through a loop of the panel’s tail. Work a chain stitch. Then insert your hook through the same cap stitch, and through the first stitch on the panel, pull up a loop and complete a sc. (It’s ok if you fudge this. You just need to attach the two pieces together to get started.)

Step 5: For the next stitch and for each stitch around, insert hook from outside of cap through all 4 loops (cap and panel). Work a sc.

Step 6: Once you’ve gone almost around, stuff the head with fiberfill, then continue working sc around to close up the head. Join to the first sc with a sl st. Fasten off and weave in ends.

If you’d like to hang your jellyfish, you can sew on a loop at the top. Otherwise you’re done!
