Amigurumi Penguin Crochet Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Abbreviations

Rnd– Round
MR– Magic ring
Ch– Chain
Sl st– Slip stitch
Sc– Single crochet
Inc– Increase
Dec– Decrease
()*– Repeat till the end of round

Materials

• Cotton ricorumi: black (060), white (001), grey (080), orange (025), pink (065)
• Crochet hook: 3mm
• 6mm safety eyes. You may need to use smaller/ larger eyes, depending on hook/ yarn size.
• Yarn needle
• Black embroidery thread
• Fiberfill for stuffing
• Scissors

Size with the materials above will be about 9 cm.

Tail

Foot (Make 2)

Flatten the opening of the foot and sc in next 3 stitches through both layers to close the opening. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew the feet under the body (6 stitches apart).

Wings (Make 2)

Flatten the opening of the foot and sc in next 3 stitches through both layers to close the opening. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew the wings in the side of the body.

To make the headband.

Ch 21, 1 sl st in second ch from hook, 19 sl st (20)

Attach the band across top of the head. Attach round muffs at either side of the band (stuff lightly if desired).

Scarf

In pink
Ch 65, inc in the second ch from hook, sc in next 62 ch, 3 sc in the last ch. Continue on the other side of the ch, 63 sc: join with sl st.
