Amigurumi Duck Free Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Skill level: Intermediate
Crochet hook: 2.75 mm (US size C/2)
Size approx.: 17 cm (6.7 inches) tall made
with the indicated yarn.

Materials:

Safety eyes 9 mm, fiberfill for
stuffing, embroidery needle, white thread,
pipe cleaner/metal wire

Yarn:

Rainbow Cotton 8/4
Steel Blue (#078) – 1 skein
Baby Blue (#032) – 1 skein
Black (#009) – 1 skein
Sunny Yellow (#055) – 1 skein
White (#001) – 1 skein

Note

The color is changed by pulling the new color through the loop of the final stitch of the

Flatten and work 9 sc through both layers. Sew to the body between rnd 12 and 13.

Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 [18]. Fasten off. Put aside and sew to head later on, using white thread
or the yarn end.

Beak and head (start with Black)

Rnds 27-32: 1 sc in each st [54]. Sew on the eyes between rnd 20 and 23. Make room for
the safety eyes by pushing the crochet hook in between stitches. Attach the safety eyes.
Rnd 33: (7 sc, dec) x 6 [48]
Rnd 34: (6 sc, dec) x 6 [42]
Rnd 35: (5 sc, dec) x 6 [36]
Rnd 36: (4 sc, dec) x 6 [30]
Rnd 37: (3 sc, dec) x 6 [24]. Stuff the head with fiberfill.
Rnd 38: (2 sc, dec) x 6 [18]
Rnd 39: (1 sc, dec) x 6 [12]
Rnd 40: dec x 6 [6]. Stuff with fiberfill. Fasten off and weave in the yarn end.

Neck (in Steel Blue)

Ch 8 and make a ring with a sl st in the first ch.
Rnds 1-8: 1 sc in each st [8]
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Stuff the neck firmly with pipe cleaner. Stuff the
pipe cleaner into the head and sew on the neck between round 27 and 29. Stuff the other
end of the pipe cleaner into the body and sew on the neck between rnd 7 and 9.

Legs(make 2 in Sunny Yellow)

Rnd 1: 6 sc in a magic ring [6]
Rnd 2: in blo 1 sc in each st [6]
Rnds 3-5: 1 sc in each st [6]
Rnd 6: 2 hdc, 1 sc, 2 sl sts, 1 sc [6]
Rnds 7-9: 1 sc in each st [6]. Stuff the legs with fiberfill and/or pipe cleaner. If using pipe
cleaner, make it long enough to push into the body. Sew the legs on to the body between rnd
20 and 21 using the yarn end.

Toes and feet (make 6 toes in Sunny Yellow)

Rnd 1: 6 sc in a magic ring [6]
Rnd 2: (1 sc, inc) x 3 [9]
Rnds 3-4: 1 sc in each st [9]
Rnd 5: 7 sc, dec [8]
Rnd 6: 6 sc, dec [7]
Rnd 7: 5 sc, dec [6]
Fasten off 2 toes.
Rnd 8: Continue crocheting the 3 toes together (see picture 1 below). Work 2 sc over the
middle toe (see picture 2 below), 5 sc over the next toe (see picture 3 below), 2 sc over the
middle toe and 5 sc over the first toe. There will be one st remaining between the toes (14)
Rnd 9: 1 sc in each st [14]
Rnd 10: (5 sc, dec) x 2 [12]
Rnds 11-12: 1 sc in each st [12]
Rnd 13: dec x 6 [6]
Rnds 14-16: 1 sc in each st [6]. Fasten off and weave in the yarn end. Do not stuff. Sew the
feet to the legs.
