Ballet Bear Free Pattern
Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.
Skill level: Intermediary
Crochet hook: 3,5 mm
Materials: Embroidery needle & black yarn, 2 safety eyes (8 mm).
Yarn: Mayflower Cotton 2
How much yarn do you need?
White (21): 1 ball
Pink (53): 1 ball
Light Brown (50): 1 ball
Cherry (27) to flower: 1 ball
Abbreviations:
MR = magic ring
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
sl st = slip stitch
TBL = through back loop
inc 1 st = work 2 stitch in 1 stitch
dec 1 st = work 2 stitches together
[…] = number of stitches
(…) = number of rounds
… = repeat
Head
With Light Brown (50)
R1: work 6 sc in MR [6],
R2: inc 1 st 6 times [12],
R3: 1 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [18],
R4: 2 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [24],
R5: 3 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [30],
R6: 4 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [36],
R7: 5 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [42],
R8-14: work 1 sc in each stitch (7 rounds) [42].
Attach the safety eyes between R10 and R11.
R15: 5 sc, dec 1 st 6 times [36],
R16: 4 sc, dec 1 st 6 times [30],
R17: 3 sc, dec 1 st 6 times [24],
R18: 2 sc, dec 1 st 6 times [18],
Stuff the head and bind off. Leave a long end to sew the head on the body.
Snout
With White (21).
R1: work 6 sc in MR [6],
R2: inc 1 st 6 times [12],
R3: 1 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [18],
R4: 2 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [24].
Bind off but leave a long end to sew the snout on the head. Place the snout between the
eyes on R9 and R14.
Ears
Make 2 with Light Brown (50).
R1: work 6 sc in MR [6],
R2: 1 sc, inc 1 st 3 times [9],
R3: work 1 sc in each stitch [9].
Bind off and sew the ears on the head between R4 and R6.
Body
Begin with Pink (53).
R1: work 6 sc in MR [6],
R2: inc 1 st 6 times [12],
R3: 1 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [18],
R4: 2 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [24],
R5: 3 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [30],
R6: 4 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [36],
R7: 5 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [42],
R8-10: work 1 sc in each stitch (3 rounds) [42],
R11: work 1 sc in each stitch, but TBL only [42], later you will work the tutu in this row.
R12: 5 sc, dec 1 st 6 times [36],
R13: work 1 sc in each stitch [36],
R14: 4 sc, dec 1 st 6 times [30],
R15-19: work 1 sc in each stitch (5 rounds) [30],
R20: 3 sc, dec 1 st 6 times [24],
Change to brown, stuff the body continuously as you go.
R21: 2 sc, dec 1 st 6 times [18],
R22-24: work 1 sc in each stitch (3 rounds) [18].
Bind off but leave a long end to sew the head on the body. Stuff the body a little bit more.
Tutu
With Pink (53).
Work in front loops of R11 on the body:
R1: work 1 sc in each stitch [42],
R2: 1 sc, inc 1 st 21 times [63],
R3: 1 sc, inc 1 st 31 times [93].
Now work the picots as follows: 3 sc, ch 2, work 1 sc in 2 nd stitch from hook, repeat on entire row.
Straps
With Pink (53).
Ch 1 with pink, work 1 sc in 2 nd ch from hook, continue with 9 sc [10]. Bind off but leave a long end to sew the straps on R24 on both the front and the back of the body.
Arms
Make 2 with Light Brown (50).
R1: work 6 sc in MR [6],
R2: inc 1 st 6 times [12],
R3: 3 sc, inc 1 st 3 times [15],
R4–5: work 1 sc in each stitch (2 rounds) [15].
Stuff the hand a little bit. The arm is not stuffed.
R6: 3 sc, dec 1 st 3 times [12],
R7: 2 sc, dec 1 st 3 times [9],
R8-26: work 1 sc in each stitch (19 rounds) [9].
Bind off but leave a long end to sew the arms on R23 on the body.
Legs
Make 2. Begin with Pink (53).
R1: work 6 sc in MR [6],
R2: inc 1 st 6 times [12],
R3: 1 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [18],
R4: 2 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [24],
R5: 3 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [30],
R6: 4 sc, inc 1 st 6 times [36],
R7: work 1 sc in each stitch, TBL only [36],
R8-9: work 1 sc in each stitch (2 rounds) [36],
R10: 6 sc, dec 1 st 12 times, 6 sc [24],
R11: 6 sc, dec 1 st 6 times, 6 sc [18],
Change to brown, stuff the foot and leg continuously as you go.
R12: work 1 sc in each stitch, TBL only [18],
R13: 3 sc, dec 1 st 6 times, 3 sc [12],
R14-34: work 1 sc in each stitch (21 rounds) [12].
Stuff the leg thoroughly and sew it on the body right next to the MR on R1. Work one more
leg in the same way.
Take a long pink thread and attach it on the backside of the foot, in the transition between
pink and brown, so you have two shoestrings. Now you cross the thread 2 times on the front
of the leg and tie it with a little bow on the front. See pictures below.
Flower on the dress
With Cherry (27).
Work in MR: 1 sc, 1 dc, 1 sc, 1 sl st and repeat 5 times.
Tighten, bind off and sew the flower on the dress.
Pas des deux… and dance, dance…
