Amigurumi Pig Crochet Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Tools and materials:
1. Yarn Art Jeans yarn in pink (18) and white (62) colors, Alize Cotton Gold in red (243) colors;
2. Hook number 2;
3. Filler holofiber;
4. Eyes with a diameter of 10 mm (the author has half beads);
5. Plastic buttons for attaching legs and decor;
6. Black sewing thread for muzzle decoration;
7. Glue or glue gun;
8. Thick needle for stitching details;
9. Scissors;
10. Dry pastel for toning.

Symbols:
k.a. – amigurumi ring;
c.p. – air loop;
w.p.p. – air lifting loop;
ss – connecting column;
sc – single crochet;
sn – double crochet;
pr – increase (two columns in 1 loop);
dec – decrease (two loops together);
ZPP – rear half-loop;
ppp – front half loop.

The toy is knitted in continuous spiral rows. Do not end the row with a connecting post and do not turn the work unless
instructed to do so. At the beginning of the row, use a marker or thread of a different color to help mark the first stitch of each new row.

Legs (2 parts)
We start with a white thread, fill it as we knit.
We collect 5 v.p. + 1 c.p.p.
1 row: in the 2nd loop from the hook 4 sc, 3 sc in 1 loop, 3 sc, inc (12);
2 row: inc, 3 sc, 3 inc, 3 sc, 2 inc (18);
3 row: 1 sc, inc, 3 sc, (1 sc, inc) * 3, 3 sc, (1 sc, inc) * 2 (24);
4-5 row: 24 sc;
6 row: 2 sc, dec, (1 sc, dec) * 5, 5 sc (18);
7 row: 5 sc, 3 dec, 7 sc (15);
Change the thread to pink.
8 row: we knit for zpp 4 sc, 3 dec, 5 sc (12);
9-15 row: 12 sc;
16th row: 6 dec (6).
We tighten the hole, hide the thread inside the part.

We attach a white thread to the first free half-loop of the 8th row and knit the top of the sock.
1 row: we knit for pp 1 ch, 15 sc, sl-st;
2 row: (ch 1, sl-st) * 15.
We fix the thread, cut it, hide the tip.

Handles (2 parts)
We knit with a pink thread, fill up to the 12th row.
1 row: 6 sc in k.a.;
2 row: (2 sc, inc) * 2 (8);
3-13 row: 8 sc;
14 row: (2 sc, dec) * 2 (6).
We fold the part and connect the edges, knitting 3 sc. We fix the thread, hide it inside the part.

Torso
We start work with a pink thread, fill it as we knit.

Change the thread to red.

21 row: 5 sc, knit the first handle, knit 3 sc for the loops of the handle and body together, 6 sc, knit the second handle, knit 3 sc for the loops of the handle and body together, 1 sc (18);
22nd row: 18 sc.
We cut the thread, leaving a long end for sewing on the head.

Head
We knit with a pink thread, fill as we knit.

We tighten the hole, hide the thread inside the part.

If you use safety eyes, insert them between 12 and 13 side by side at a distance of 6 sc.

Ears (2 parts)
We knit with a pink thread, do not fill.
1 row: 6 sc in k.a.;
2 row: 6 sc;
3 row: (1 sc, inc) * 3 (9);
4 row: 9 sc;
5 row: 1 sc, inc, (2 sc, inc) * 2, 1 sc (12);
6 row: (3 sc, inc) * 3 (15);
7-9 row: 15 sc;
10 row: (3 sc, dec) * 3 (12).
We fold the part and connect the edges, knitting 6 sc. We fold the part again and again connect the edges, knitting 3 sc. We cut the thread, leaving a long end for sewing.

Piglet
We knit with a pink thread.
1 row: 6 sc in k.a.;
2 row: 6 inc (12);
3rd row: 3 inc, 3 sb, 3 inc, 3 sb (18);
4th row: knit for PPP 18 sc;
5 row: we knit for free sts of the 4th row 18 sc.
We cut the thread, leaving a long end for sewing.

Tail
We knit with a thread of pink color.
We attach the thread to the body at the level of the 8th or 9th row in the center (I fastened it at the place where the thread changed from pink to red), we collect 5 ch. + 1 c.p.p.
1 row: in the 2nd loop from the hook 5 inc, sl-st in the last loop.
We hide the end of the thread inside the body.

Scarf
We knit with a white thread. Recruiting 80 v.p. + 2 c.p.p.
1 row: 80 dc, starting from the 3rd loop from the hook.
We fix the thread, cut it, hide the tip. We decorate the edges of the scarf with a fringe.

Assembly and design
We sew a patch to the head between 12 and 18 next, we fill the part as it is sewn.
We make a tightening for the eye near the patch at the level of 12-13 rows.
Glue on the eyes.
Embroider the whites of the eyes with a white thread.
We embroider eyelids, eyebrows, nostrils with black thread.
Sew on the ears at the level of the 8th row.
We tint the ears and cheeks with dry pastels.
Sew the head to the body.
Sew 2 plastic buttons to the body.
We fasten the legs to the body (between 7 and 8 side by side) using a button mount.
We tie a scarf.
