Amigurumi Whale Free Pattern
Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.
You will need:
- Himalaya Dolphin Baby yarn
- 4.0 mm crochet hook or 4.5 mm
- 6 mm black beads (or safety eyes)
- Yarn needle
- Fiberfill
Abbreviations:
R – row
ch – chain
st – stitch
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)
[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row
(…) – repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times
Bottom
With white yarn:
R 1: 2 ch, 6 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [18]
R 4: (2 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [24]
R 5: (3 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [30]
Fasten off.
Body
With other colour:
R 1: 2 ch, 5 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook [5]
R 2: (inc) repeat 5 times [10]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 5 times [15]
R 4: (2 sc, inc) repeat 5 times [20]
R 5: (3 sc, inc) repeat 5 times [25]
R 6: 25 sc
R 7: (4 sc, inc) repeat 5 times [30]
R 8-9: 30 sc (2 rows)
Don’t cut the yarn.
Insert safety eyes at the distance of 5-6 stitches from each other.
Continue crocheting in the round, joining the bottom with the body (view video at 05:16):
14 sc through both sides across; make a fin: 4 ch, from the 2nd ch from hook 3 sc; 7 sc through both sides across; make a tail: 7 ch, from the 2nd ch from hook 4 sc; 4 ch, from the 2nd ch from hook 3 sc; 2 sc on chain; 8 sc through both sides across; make a fin: 4 ch, from the 2nd ch from hook 3 sc; 1 sc through both sides across.
Fasten off.
